Kiss Of Death Poem by Brhyte Owoo

Kiss Of Death

I danced with the kiss of death
And I live to tell the tale
Though my body is scarred
Yet my Spirit rejoices

Of the many, yes we were
But of the few, I only
To step, out of dance
From the embrace of death.

It is not of any specialty I possess
But that of determination and perseverance
Which now leads me to a place of joy
Clothing me in the rainbow of happiness and accomplishment
