Keyboard Realities Where Words Ghosts Roam Freed Poem by Terence George Craddock

Keyboard Realities Where Words Ghosts Roam Freed

my medium is an old heavily used solid black Acer laptop
more than a decade old through those time spent keyboard
fingertip soft small shine indentations I sit alone pour mind
soul into keystroke letters letter following letter appearing
words screen appearing forming into new poetic word form
poems the spirit of legions of poems past typed on this black
Acer laptop on this time worn Acer keyboard are ghost spirits
thousands of poems ghosts which spread across past poetic

landscape rarely read still roaming free to be found
by any searching soul desiring to trace read shadow
sight poetic has been in files title lists seldom seen
do poems start as mind dreams no good poetry rapid
springs onto poetic pages in poem storms inspiration
inspired master poets write rapid flat batteries laboured
