Just Do It, Colin Poem by Hebert Logerie

Just Do It, Colin

Thank you Nike
For supporting Colin
Not crazy and devious Palin
Thank for holding the mighty mic
Of freedom of expression
For Colin Kaepernick, the fighter
The quarterback, the football player
Who has a message, a mission
To let the world know that we all matter
We need to be treated fairly and justly
It's not about the flags, it's about justice
Human rights and the right to live in peace
Where there is no justice
Obviously, the is no peace
Just do it! And fight for our liberty
Our freedom of speech and dignity
Just do it! Thank you Nike
Thank you for the mike
We will not burn our sneakers
Because we're smart
We will buy more sneakers
For our brothers and sisters
Because we're smart
Nike's sneakers last forever
We don't burn; we're smarter
We are extremely strong and fit
Just do it, Nike. Just do it.
