Jesus Christ: Has A Post Crucifixion Influence Poem by Terence George Craddock

Jesus Christ: Has A Post Crucifixion Influence

many wild claims were made about him
written in four books called gospels
these were books about his life miracles
other books letters were written about him
how strange how strange to write much
about a man crucified as a common criminal

stranger still stories were told of his disciples
disciples who ran away hid in a house in fear
how they claimed he was the Son of God
were also tortured put to death for this crime
Jesus claimed he would return to the world
claimed there would be no peace until his return

time passed then a man called John of Patmos
claimed to have a Revelation from Jesus Christ
he wrote an apocalypse with four horsemen
in the Old Testament's prophetic Book Zechariah
in the Book of Ezekiel these four horsemen
were mentioned named as punishments from God

The Quran calls Islam the " religion of Abraham" (Ibrahim) and refers to Jacob (Yaqub) and the Twelve Tribes of Israel as being Muslims. The Gospel is Injil. Doing the math for Robert Christianity 31.1%, Islam 24.9% is 55%,2.4 billion plus 1.9 billion. Over half the worlds population cares.

Of course you know this is incorrect Robert, Jesus is a prophet in Islam. Many prophets in Judaism and Christianity are prophets in Islam. The Islamic prophets you might have heard of are Adam, Elisha is Alyasa', Job is Ayyub, Moses (Musa) is Tawrat, David (Dawud) is Zabur, Jesus is 'Isa.

So true, a common criminal.

Yet an influence that inspired the Magna Carta, the American Declaration of Independence, most moral and ethical laws that enrich and protect society. An event that happened 2 thousand years ago, to stamp out a belief the mighty Roman Empire could not stop, with presently about 2.4 billion followers; rather a miracle, an impossible outcome that any good gambler would bet heavily against Robert.
