Internet Poem by Elena Sandu

Internet

Rating: 3.9

Society keeps building cities
to stop the nature create
poets and artists
on a conveyor belt.
But, the poets and artists
These days will come out
faster than any factory
as we've got this
free thing,
called:
Internet.

Words of truth, Elena, that is unless we don't take some aggressive action soon in countering Hackers, foreign countries that mean us harm, and terrorist organizations that could not recruit their armies without the world wide web! Nice Work, young lady...Good to see you're still penning...Hope all is well in your world...~FjR~

Yes we have a great medium as a powerful tool to express ourselves with our art and poetry. I do love the internet with it's access to instant information via search engines and being able to participate on this awesome site. Although as Frank has stated it also is fraught with hackers and terrorist recruitment which is a huge problem. Thank you Elena for your words....10

Thank you so much for your generous comments, dear loving poets and artists! I am humbled and overwhelmed by the great luck of being chosen as a poem of the day, yet also grateful for every word, please keep sharing, I hope my poem conveyed one of my soul's thoughts that of the need for people to keep sharing: every creation is adding the least one nickel to our freedom, a treasure which hopefully will enrich our human world towards the so long needed changes.
