Inside Our Heads Poem by Julia Woodman

Inside Our Heads

Rating: 4.8

Come and see inside my mind
there's strange things of many kinds
twists & turns and alleys blind
& some that stretch past all the sides.

There's lumps n bumps & smooth bits too
in & out of both me and you
there's scary things worse than on the news
and there's lovely things both pure & true

but take a look inside your head
just before you go to bed -
endless paths of knotted thread
weirder than any book you've read.

there's scary things worse than on the news and there's lovely things both pure & true how true. you are writing about a truth which so many may not recognize. we live in our brains, thoughts, visions, anxieties, loves, pleasures, joys .. thank you very much for this insightful poem. tony
