Incessant Rain Grey A Gift Today Poem by Terence George Craddock

Incessant Rain Grey A Gift Today

Rating: 5.0

incessant rain
all morning falls
skies a bitter grey

who will say
take joy this day
despite the grey

the house is dry
daughters in bed do lie
despite the grey

a wet day is a good sleep in day
sleeping blissfully on a wet day
warm happy sleep despite the grey

there are joy happy things to do
in a morning sweet inside new
smile in choices not blue not grey

let us have fun today
plan adventures fun today
enjoy gift rest this day

incessant rain
all morning falls
skies a bitter grey

Good one. Wish you could blow some cloudy cloud here to make us farmers proud. Three straight drought we are in doubt shoots will sprout we need rain with clout we shout globally warming but some clown doesnt believe. Enjoy the rain

today will be a day of incessant rain here, not a nice day, so I decided to put a positive spin on it, and wrote 'Incessant Rain Grey A Gift Today', my daughters are enjoying the day now it is mid afternoon, still cold bleak, so I better eat a late lunch, something hot, prepare a fire for later Thank you for the comment Varsha :)

I didn't thought others too imagine rain such a bliss. Nice to read your these words. Really soothing and enjoyable. Thank-you for penning this. Indeed a gift today.
