In Time Poem by Jake Deeds

In Time

Rating: 2.5

Has love been lost on falls' first frost
And the sadness, remember, the days of December
Fear not, the cusp of winds, for renewal begins
And the shadows of moon reign in June
Memories fade and hopes ensue, something borrowed, something blue..

Time really speeds up in this poem, it doesn't go tick tick tick but WHOOSH. There is an impatience to get to a new season as if the season held the key to an end to aloneness..But I don't feel depressed by the poem because the faith in the processes of nature - time itself - seem hopeful
