In Silence Poem by Akham Nilabirdhwaja Singh

In Silence

Rating: 4.8

In that rainy night
near her home
at the distance
a lone electric lamp shone;
raindrops seen flickering
in its light.
She might be sleeping then.
Yet I did not stop
driving my vehicle
in the rain
towards my far home
in the city.

Maybe romance was the impetus for the poem, but the deep caring of a person experience true love is seen in these lines: She might be sleeping then. I did not stop driving my vehicle in the rain Excellent picture, easily envisioned.
