I wish it were true
That the world was kind
compassionate and full of love.

I wish it were true
That the world was free of
Lies jealousy and greed.

I wish it were true
That there was more humanity
Honesty and integrity.
We need it to be more

A lot more
Not all is lost.

I can make a difference
You can make a difference
We can add the good bits
Of life back into the world.

We just need to try.
We all need to try.
That little bit harder.
