I Must Forget You Poem by Trong Phan

I Must Forget You

Rating: 5.0

I must forget you
As a patient must forget a pain
To live.

As the patient who have overcome desease
Sees leaves- leaves are greener
Sees light - light is clearer
And like ice dissolves in the sun
His tears fall down in happiness.

I am happy
Because
I see happiness in eyes of our children
Who are waiting
The day
We
Come back.

As a patient forgets I should forget you but not to God. To him I should remember even during pain and joy. Nicely written.
