I Miss You Poem by Joshua Nnachi

I Miss You

Rating: 5.0

I looked with blinding eyes at a white flower wilting
Then I remembered your name dying on my lips.

These tiny droplets of salty rain remind me I have been a dry land;
But how can I block the harsh sun
From shrinking the tender flower,
When all I can do is water it with tears?

"..all I can do/ is water it with tears"… beautiful, poignant and hear wrenching, but endearing poem. Poem of high aesthetic standards. Top
