I'M Sorry Poem by Sophia Smith

I'm sorry, if my poems have made you cry
But, it is the way I express myself
I am intimidating to most people's eye
like a scary movie cover sitting on a shelf
Many people don't understand,
So i let my self free by writing a poem.
My poems poems used to be bland.
Motionless as a jeroboam.
But, as each poem gets better,
They contain much more feeling.
It is like writing a letter,
only on the ceiling.
I know this sounds silly and maybe crazy,
but please ask youself, what would you do?
If you were considered 'hazy'
Or that you belong in a zoo.
So, if my poems have made you cry
Or feel 'starry'.
Or even feel shy.
I'm sorry.
