I Love You. Poem by ANKWASA HARLORD

I Love You.

Rating: 5.0

I met her on the way,
She gave me a cheat.
My eyes couldn't stop gazing at her,
Like a monkey gazing at a
Yellow banana,

I said to myself
What could it be?

I gently went to bed,
Though not sleepy.
I opened her cheat
And I saw red roses,
I heard them whisper to me
"I love you".

I tried to find sleep
Oh I couldn't sleep
There lay her beauty,
for the cheat kept
talking to me
"I love you ".

A beautiful poem indeed. The emphatic use of " I love you " makes the poem a piece of craftsmanship. You should read my poem The wind an extreme instance. Thank you.
