I Envy This Pen Poem by M. Asim Nehal

I Envy This Pen

Rating: 4.6

I envy this pen,
It writes and then hangs
Between the soft lips
Takes a bite of the teeth
Goes back to writing
Touches the silky hairs
And back on paper to dance
Goes again to touch the long neck
This naughty pen
Rolls over the fingers
Stays firmly with the thumb
I care less about what it writes
I envy the way it remains
Close to body and heart.

You have all reasons to envy that pen. But your writing is far superior to it so keep writing instead who knows what you will own someday (better than that pen) . Ten Thumbs up.

What privilege the pen is enjoying.....! ! But don't wish to be a pen in your next birth....... Continue to be the gifted poet.....! Interesting write!
