I Endear And Endure Poem by Mark Heathcote

I Endear And Endure

The glances of the bees
Have me dancing in my leaves.
Have my petals fall to the floor.
Discarded embers wanton for more.

What honey glades are these?
Have me harbouring for a breezeĀ
Like a vessel becalmed at sea,
Abandoned, honey, no, not me.

I am as nature is made to be.
I endear and endure to see
My beauty reflected magnanimously.
In abundance,
In all equal.
