I Died Inside Poem by Arica B.

I was waiting for you all my life.
When you didn’t show up.
I would cry.
When I called you.
You said the words I thought,
I would never hear you say,
“Arica, We need to talk”
I help my breath for a while,
And I managed to say,
“About what honey? ”
You told me it was over.
My heart just fell apart.
It shattered into millions of little pieces.
Inside,
My heart just died.
Never to love again.
You killed me inside.
How can you,
Of all people,
Would leave me there to die.
No one can love me like you did.
No one can make me smile like you did.
And no one can replace you,
Like you replaced me.
So how can I trust you again?
How can I love you,
Like I did before?
I died inside,
When you broke my heart.
When you left me for dead,
In the cold, cruel world,
I died.
All my happy memories,
Now gone.
My happy memories of us,
And use to be’s,
Now dead.
My memories and my broken heart,
Now inside a grave.
Buried forever,
And to never rise again.
