I Can'T Write Poetry Anymore Poem by Mary Jesusa Villegas

I Can'T Write Poetry Anymore

Listening to the coming sounds
of the melody of
the words
the pigment that enhances
my rainbow
It's my vacation already
But my poetry
might soon
follow.

I can't write poetry anymore
I just feel it
wrapping my heart
my soul
into a sacred union
that makes me clearly see
in the world of domination.

Can I make the naked silence
my poetry?
It's odd
but I feel it
unwrap me
It's my vacation already.

Every
little stress
little burden
little minutes of seconds
where everything is frozen

Every
little trouble
little fear
little sweat that melted
my thin-grown eyelashes
my thin-grown eyebrows
little euphoria
dissipates
when I'm near
But I know God
you're always here
in my poetry

I am calm. I am free
Can I write poetry?
I am calm. I am free
Take me back my poetry! -
my every-
little
stress
burden
minutes of seconds
where everything is frozen
every
trouble
fear
thin-grown eyelashes
thin-grown eyebrows
euphoria!

It's my vacation already
will my poetry?
I am calm and I am free,
to follow the melody.

A lyric poem, that's a good composition that can stimulate more creativity into poetry. This is a nice motivating thought, well penned.

Sometimes a poetic obscurity that can obsess us from writing something... I like the middle portion of this poem, where the presence of God in your mind turns to a positive attitude... It's a nice poem.... Written well
