How Pleasant To Know Cowboy Ron Poem by Cowboy Ron Williams

How Pleasant To Know Cowboy Ron

Rating: 5.0

It's so pleasant to know Cowboy Ron.
He's as graceful as any fine swan.
Show some cheer while he's here,
because some people fear
he's so old that he soon may be gone.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

You're not THAT old, Cowboy! Very nice limerick! I have now posted one of my own.

YES, Belle, Ron IS 'that old', maybe even OLDER! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! So, now, like you, Ron, AND Kim Barney, I may be coerced into writing a 'How Pleasant to know...' poem about ME. That will be easy, as I am so terrific! ! ! bri : )

"He's as graceful as any fine swan" …Swans move fast on the water and in the air; doubt you can say that about mr. Lear'

me, I enjoy Cowboy Ron because he is like a fine wine and we can hang around the campfire and talk about the old days when horses were the stars we gathered around us and foolish stunts were reminisced---don't you go anywhere, my friend

As when I found no stars to choose from after reading Belle's limerick, I find no stars to thrust upon Ron. : (( So sad. bri
