How Many Times, Lord? Poem by Royston Nella

How Many Times, Lord?

It's him Lord and he has done it again!
Why can't he just stop and learn to refrain?
He still wants me to forgive him once more
but he's done it so many times before!

Just how many more times must I be nice?
For I've already forgiven him twice!
'Seventy seven times and more, ' You say,
if I wish to follow the Jesus Way

........ a few days later

It's me Lord and I've done it yet again!
How I wish that I could learn to refrain.
For I have done it many time before
and come to You for forgiveness me more.

I'm so glad that forgive and forgive again
For from the things I do I cannot refrain.
I commit the same sins so many times
and yet You forgive me every time.
