Hotel Near The Sea Poem by tharindra galahena

Hotel Near The Sea

A world with a child's laugh,
mixed with his mother's and father's

A world with young love,
Joyful murmurs,
With occasional giggles.

A world also with love, but old,
Waiting for the next great journey.
Calm and peaceful,
With whispers of old stories.

A world with a broken heart,
Sad lonely face gazes at the empty sky.

A world with no heart at all,
Angry screams into a telephone.

All of these worlds,
Stacked in columns and rows.
With windows open to the evening wind's song.
