Hope For The Future Poem by Damilare Odeyemi

Hope For The Future

Tons of hope in all folks
Hurdles get bypassed each day
All eyes on the golden cup
While wiping out all negativity

Hoes found their masters
Toddlers with noses on the book
The heart has no definite song
Hitting limelight chants on every lip

Brains feel alive and hard-wired
A bit of crumpet noted the ways of morality
Dusts off the shoulder in the eventide,
Heaps testified to the strong arm of men

Tossed to the midst of men;
Was the dice of confusion
Wise ones in sixes and seven state,
Adrenaline preceded a palpitating heart

Bequeath unto us your swampy lands of your father
With return of bounty cart of foreign currency
With an indepth knowledge in Geology,
Toddlers saved the drowning men!
