It is weighing on you now
The realization of
How much you decided to give up
In exchange for a couple of weeks
Of shallow enjoyment

It is starting to occur to you
That you had it all
You had what others spend lifetime
Searching for
And some never find

It's only hitting you now
That you lost the only one
That has ever made you
feel like home

It's just becoming clear
That you are the only one
Who can clean the mess you've made
And turn things around

It is weighing on you now
