Home Coming Poem by Dwayne Gordon

Home Coming

Rating: 5.0

We close our eyes for a moment, just to open in time to see our lives passing us by. They tend to think that life should be at a slower pace, yet the time will come when it shall be fast as twenty one bullets from a gun. Faster than the speed of light, rhythm to the beat of the heart, don’t sit and wait, get up – make a start.
Loving and caring should be easy for us to do. Was once a tadpole positively sure someone kept loving you. Take a look in the mirror, love what you see? I’m looking at my child wondering if he’s loving me. I want to love and beloved forever – it’s for sure. I will always love you baby, now and for evermore.
