Hidden Treasure Poem by Michael Ejire

Hidden Treasure

Rating: 5.0

Treasure like the stars above
Hidden in the clouds above

Treasure like the eyes of a dove
Away from hungry wolves

Hidden to the world
But visible in my world

Treasure of a loving heart
Like a diamond beneath the earth

Hidden in the heart
Like a molten magma in the earth

Treasure that belongs to the heart
Different from the rest on earth

Away from treasure hunters
Stationed to make my heart glitter

Oh, this treasure glows!
Her glory repels sorrow!

Who can access this treasure
That dwells in the heart like a cynosure?

Only he who loves beyond measure
Whose heart love with composure

Dedicated to Akinwale Abiodun (Queen Bee)
