Hellbent

To a cry of 'heed' unheard
is added the one heard unheeded
and the appeal of unreason
to those most suited for the yoke.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It seems the Age of Reason has given way to the Age of Belief. Yet it matters not how many believe the same lies. Reality is still there for those with courage enough to see it and live genuinely within it. A smile is wonderful to see; but a frown can save a life if flashed in a timely manner.

Profound........Indeed, the sense pf reasoning is taken over by the constant propoganda by media and those who are in-charge of mass communication, we start to believe in a lie constantly repeated in different forms and means. A thought provoking poem my friend. Loved it 10+++++

Thank you Asim. You must be on that site constantly because I just today put this one up....then something happened to my computer and it was down for a while until I unplugged everything and began again....computers are not my strong point. How are you? I don't get on this site as often as I want to. Stay well. I'm not surprised you understood this one!
