He's At A Jollity While She's Singing Behind The Screen

By LIU-Yong Translated by East-sea Fairy
He's attending a jollity
while she's singing a song behind the screens on that date.
The alma' s voice is loud and clear extraordinarily
and the new song sounds lovely and sweet to the possessed pate.
Yet he can't see at all her flower-like face great.
With her clapping clappers flows out the music moving and mobile,
as mobile as differently-sized pearls falling into a jade plate,
and the dust that was stirred up from the crossbeam, its domicile,
unknowingly falls into his glittering goblet meanwhile.

Outside a forlorn Chinese phoenix bird
alighting in the flowering Phoenix tree plaintively cries.
Floating fleetingly are the clouds stirred.
Getting darker are the skies.
Her singing now sounds like a lonely Chinese phoenix's pathetic sighs,
now a cheerful musical dialogue in antiphonal style
of a happy Chinese phoenix pair likewise.
So deeply impressed and moved by her moving song is the juvenile
that he is overwhelmed with joy in the aisle.
