I want to thank my nation
for the exuberance and courage it radiates;
I want to thank my nation
for all the unity and fraternity it generates;
I want to thank my nation
forthe heritage and culture it embraces;
I want to thank my nation
for all the traditions and festivities it encourages;
I want to thank every Indian
who has worked for the prosperity of my nation.

I want to thank every leader
who has guided my nation to freedom;
I want to thank Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru
for their endeavors in seeking sovereignty for our country;
I want to thank
the justice system for upholding
the constitutional rights of our people.
I want to thank
every advocate and authority who upholds liberty and equality
of our citizens.

I want to thank every teacher
who imparts education to all our children;
I want to thank every soldier
who involves himself in defending my country;
I want to thank every labourer
who dedicates his energy in constructing
those huge bridges and highways of our nation;
I want to thank
every devotee who enhances his faith secularly.

I want to thank every flower
that blooms to make our nation look so colourful;
and above all I want to thank
our eloquent Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi
who made our nation so full of confidence.
Yes, I want to thank all those freedom fighters
who ventured to gain Independence for our vibrant nation.

And as I walk, I want to thank nature
for the forests and fields;
I want to thank the jungles
for lions, tigers and huge elephants;
I want to thank the Thar desert
for the camels and sand dunes;
I want to thank the peacock
for the wonderful color of its feathers;
I want to thank the Oceans and Rivers
for the Ganges and the seas around our periphery.

And above all, I want to thank God for my India
as amidst all its diversities and intricacies
my nation is naturally so blessed
with unity and everlasting harmony.
