Had I Known Poem by Ana Monnar

Had I Known

Rating: 5.0

Today I feel so sad
After hearing my niece passed
With your dad, you are in Heaven
No doubt of that is in my mind
So much you had to offer
Smart, athletic and nice, you sure were
My dear niece please rest in peace
No more turmoil, no more pain
From many different ends

Only blessings I do wish for you
Nice memories of watching you play
Your sweet smile and lovely words
Had I known the last time I saw you
That I would not see you again
Instead of just a cordial smile and hi
Melissa, I wish we had hugged instead
Where you are now, there is no sorrow
Only God smiling at your face
