Take a look into these eyes
And find everything that they hide
All of the shame and all of the lies

Take a look these eyes and find that deep inside
There is nothing left of me this time
Look into my eyes and say goodbye

But know that wherever I go
I travel the road planned for me long ago;
but oh how this road takes me so far from home

So remember this smile
For it will be gone for quite awhile
But I will be back someday
Once I have found my way out from the gray

And hopefully you will be waiting for me
To see that I have become the person you have always believed me to be

But if I should fail please place all pity aside
And just let everyone know that I tried
Dont let my failure become yours
Carry on just as before

And so i say goodbye for now
But know that I am yours
A vow i will hold
If I shall ever make it home
