I never did know you meant so much to me,
Well because i never made time to really see
I had you with me each blessed day
and yet, i never said what i had to say.

There were those times when my life was going down the drain
and those were the times when you were the only person there, thinking for me:
You were my brain
And yet, my Love, I never did what i had to do
and that was just to utter those three magically strung words, 'i love you.'

But now I'd never have the chance because you are gone
Your horrible death for years has left me morose and forlorn,
Emotions force me to give up, choke up and cry
Because i never had the chance to say goodbye.
