Glass Poem by Resa Lynn

Glass

Rating: 4.5

I’m looking at you through the glass.
How much time has passed?
I’m not ever going to go anywhere.
People always stop and stare.
I sit here and cry
I feel as though I’m going to die.
I lost the love of my life
Due to all of this strife.
I miss you, I really do.
I always will, my life went blue.
Tears falling from my eyes.
All of these lies.
I’m never going to forget you.
“I love you too”
I wish we were still together
But I guess we didn‘t last forever.

I know how sad that can be. It's just awful to lose the one you love. The first two lines, do they bare any relation to the lyrics to 'Through Glass' by Stone Sour, or is it just a coincidence. Either way, good poem.
