Get Over It

Get Over It/

Now that silence has spoken
Distance stands between us like a wall that
We can't cross- - -
The night awaits dawn but
I don't miss you anymore.
Fall sits back- Spring sets forth.
Gloomy mundane Winter may shiver
The colors of maple sprinkle within.
There is no such thing as coincidence
the static rush endures under still water
synced with the tide of the moon.
Now I am over you, you can't stand
A different world and I still have to wreath
I don't miss you anymore.

Great poem of respecting yourself, and having control.

A good depiction of loss of fascination in once blissful relationship, well articulated, nicely encapsulated, and insightfully penned in poetic diction with conviction. Love is whimsical and temperamental, appearing unannounced and may leave without warning. Thanks for sharing Razia. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
