Gentleman Poem by Luxolo Poswa

Gentleman

(Inspired by Dr. Maya Angelou)

Sometimes I wonder what women want from me?
I mean I'm not handsome, I'm no charming and I'm not muscular built
Maybe it's because I'm a man, absolutely a gentleman

Some days I ask myself what do girls see in me? I'm not rich, I don't have the greatest smile
nor Shakespeare personage
It might be ‘coz I'm a gentleman, yes indeed a MAN

Just think about it
Who likes a nobody from nowhere
But an extraordinary somebody from somewhere, wait
Am I that ‘body'?
Oh NO, it can't be. I can't be
Definitely a man that is gentle.
