Galaxy Of Thoughts Poem by Lauren Cunningham

Galaxy Of Thoughts

I sit and think about things far too often,
It's my biggest problem,
A thought,
Of no particular significance,
Will enter my head,
Next thing I know,
I'm half way to the moon,
In my flight of thought,
Carrying me around the universe.

I have solved so many problems,
I have righted so many wrongs,
I have made a stand where a stand must be made,
In my Galaxy of Thought,
I can make true what I like,
No-one is starving,
Money, is fools gold,
Education is treated as a gift,
The word 'Destruction' doesn't exist.

I do sit and think about things far too often,
It really is my biggest problem,
Because my addictive,
Mind-consuming thoughts,
Are thoughts and that's all,
I am condemmed to my Galaxy of Thought.

But there at least, I have created Paradise!
