I sometimes sit and think Of what could have been,
If only I had been heard more or seen.

I guess we were a cause forlorn.
Never meant to be together,
With both of us changing like the weather.
From sun to rain, with pain
In my heart, I will forget you not.

But, if our paths should again cross,
I shall not consider it a loss, but
Rather shall fill my heart with hope;
That all the people you've met, all the love you've recieved;
A place in your heart I may never leave.
