Foggy Poem by Dorsey Baker

Foggy

Its such A foggy night
the fog
covers everything in sight
you hear the boats
when they come in
you hear the wind
when it starts to howl
you welcome the
tides that rise and fall
colors of the rainbow
refuse to blend
moon and stars
that are barely seen
you are afraid
that the ocean
might come out of
its belly
and become a flood
you know that the body
of flesh will one day decay
and turn itself
back into mud
but the night is
much too foggy
and its only
visible things
that you cannot see!
