Farewell To Human Touch Poem by M S Newhadney

Farewell To Human Touch

If I kiss your lips,
the virus transmits through lipstick.
If I caress your exuberant hair,
the virus transfers through its tanglement.
If I touch your tender body,
the virus transports evil into it.
No kiss, no caress, no touch
This is new protocol of life
The king Corona ordered it many months ago
And you have to obey
There's no exceptional way
Putting up with your profound loneliness
Like an astronaut suspended in weightlessness
This is your fatal destiny in the new century
Now it's time to farewell to normal life
When kiss, caress and touch were probable
Good old days!
It's time to farewell to human touch.
