I gather my hair
And paint my head
A shade of blue and green
And have become
The Earth

The contrast between the title and the body of work is interesting. I read this poem and I think of the he vitality of life, that you are becoming one with the planet Yet why would that be an extinction unless the planets dying mimics once own dying. A marvelous work leeann. Short but deep.
