Espérer Poem by ed purchla

Espérer

Her
Luminous, light cerulean,
Eyes,
Coupled with a tired nature,
Exhibit the
Lingering afterglow of that vibrant burst of
New love.

Smiles galore,
She taps away at her phone like
Rachmaninoff,
Interpreting the bumblebee's flight,
Beaming more with each second
Passing,
Until the moment she is with him
Again.
