Like a sprout
new time appears
from the cocoon of a hibernating past.
The journey of joy begins
with the sight of a green leaf.
From her cradle
my little daughter
recites her first fascinating rhyme.
Dear dad(!)
in this earth song,
you too are a child.
Let us play a game-
a game of unblinking eye;
I'll gaze at you,
you at me.
