Departing The Tea Lounge Poem by R.Benjamin Abate

Departing The Tea Lounge

Snow falling behind you looks like
White noise making the rest of the
World unclear

Your black hair hanging
Beside rabbit fur coating
Your neck

Green eyes fixed curiously
Like a cats'

You trap me in your labyrinth

Lost in a snow
Globe
When someone
Drops the ball

Our worlds' shatter
We awaken
From a frozen dream

Snow falls
Up from the floor

We're reborn
As we surf a glacier all
The way down to some frosty dawn

You have a gentle descriptive style of mood and circumstance.
