Degression Poem by Shelvakumari Thachayil

Degression

I lost myself in the midnight sky
And found three of them there
Brightning stars always look to me
I almost felt with your image
And wrapped me cold kiss
Once I heard the story of angels
The lovely things happened again
Holding some wonders night going on
I talk to you and three others there
My mind became clear
In the morning your wishes spread in the air
Sound became my prayer
The vision quickly faded
I love the clouds where the three appears
Tenderly you placed in my hand
And in your eyes I saw the sign of love.
Nothing was remembered
There was a moon in the sky.
