Death Keeps Me Alive Poem by Sierra Staten

Death Keeps Me Alive

I look forward to death -It's the only thing that keeps me alive.
It's the only thing that keeps me sane in a world filled with insanity.
Knowing that someday these voices of terror will not fill my mind any longer.
Knowing that someday I will be in a place that nobody can disturb me,
that nobody can take away my privacy.
I do not fear death.
Instead I invite him every chance I get, hoping that he will soon prove to me I am capable of being happy.

Rilke in ELEGIES, endeavored this terminology the infinitely dead: ambiguous term, but it can be said that men are infinitely mortals, a little more than mortal! !
