Daddy dearest,
In your eyes I see my life's map wide spread
And its compass for the way to take and tread
Your smiles build colossal confidence sky high in me
To go forth, learning, knowing, creating, eventually be
The great destiny, put in your hands and heart
To mould with all care and carefulness from my start
To my time of manifesting. Daddy, as a strong support I hold
You to carry me high in hope, high in dreams, high above
All dangers, dark and nasty lurking my journey with your love.
I hold you, a warm, soft, joy of forgiveness if I err or fall
I hold you as my prevailing strength when weak, to rise tall
I hold you………to give you strength of joy at doing all these
Knowing that in me, your dreams and goals are achieved please.

Daughter dearest,
I hold you as a pledge to do all that you have said
I hold you as an oath, unbroken, sealed, coz its sacred
