Covid-19 Poem by Joseph Dela Sulh (losembe)

Covid-19

What is it that Covid-19!
The World's got not one problem!
On top of that, you Covid-19!
Damn it! I strongly it condemn!

It was like a story in a novel.
When I heard 'out it in my ears.
Truly, it froze toughly my navel.
It's way to have good feelings.

Why? No official cure found.
This drives me badly astounded.
Obviously, this is a bad sign.
No matter what, we mustn't resign.

Sure, the whole world's in fear
The disease is spreading to rear.
Not any single town stable is.
Humans are afflicted with paralysis.

Schools, workplaces, public places,
Travels, meetings, etc are called off.
Seen this, medical cares land off.
To secure southern low income towns.

Gee! Panic becomes our new breath
Fear our everyday close bodymate
Prayers our secure asylum out of death.
A new World of peace our hoping fate.

Heal the World, Jackson sang in songs
Joining everybody's hands in demand:
A World opportunity to get all strong.
A panacea thru which all things mend.

This ghastly pandemic has helped mankind for once focus on the real threat to our existence and fight it unitedly. A thought provoking composition.
