Covid 19 is scaling new heights
Infecting alike browns or whites
Whether India, Europe or USA
Everywhere Covid has its sway
There's no sign of abatement
Covid 19 hasn't got any dent
Callous leaders and the public
Can't be kept from falling sick
With no vaccine or treatment
Please ensure no one's lenient
Wearing mask, social distancing
To keep lives going and dancing

After an occasional remission, it is once again shooting up! The public as well as the leaders are equally responsible. At this stage, more than the collective effort, it is an individual responsibility to stay safe and help others too stay safe. So let us observe all the required stipulations! A timely, well rhyming and well composed poem as a reminder of the exigencies, our society face!

Thanks for your kind comments. I think people are not taking it seriously. Delhi is witnessing a fresh wave of new cases. A fine of 2000/- rupees will be charged from those who do not wear mask at public places.
