Counting The Stars Poem by Manabendra Lal Bhuyan

Counting The Stars

Rating: 5.0

Once I counted the stars,
Very dim to bright,
White, blue and reddish scars
On a dark black night.

I finished my counting,
The stars, distinct in my eyes.
I successfully counted
One, Two, Three, Four and Five.

Those were the stars
From the galaxies unknown.
Found not in the sky,
But in my life, very own.

Reflect in my eyes, through my heart,
Those are the stars, vested in my soul.
Few are supernovae and the last one yet to be my part.
But, one in the singularity, is a black hole.
