Cosy Poem by Paul Brookes

Cosy

Rating: 5.0

Strike dreams out
bed hard frozen
frost came killed the roses
leaves drip

stew on the stove bubbles
bread bakes
we eat then doze by the fire
fog mists the window blocking view

inside fire warms
dog twitches
dreams of endless bones
Winter draws near.
