Conversations Poem by Jayne Doe

Conversations

Darling please tell me
That you see what I see
'cause lately I feel so alone
Darling please tell me
That you see what I see
So many parts of me I still don't know

Though you're sitting so closely
Holding me tightly
I feel like maybe you won't stay
You look at me dearly
Smile so clearly
Say "baby, you're leading the way"

And darling please tell me
that you see what I see
'cause with you I'm not on my own
Darling please tell me
That you see what I see
So many parts that I love to know

Pause for a moment
Thinking it over
I'm not sure I know what you mean
And I hold you tightly
'cause baby it's frightening
I know, but I don't think I believe

Darling please tell me
That you see what I see
'cause right now you're holding my soul
Darling please tell me
That you see what I see
Cause I don't think I can let go
